Board of »ÆÍø±¬ÁÏ meetings are open to the public. Under specific circumstances, some meetings of the Board and most meetings of the Board’s Litigation Review Committee, are held as non-public meetings as provided for in Minnesota State Statute. Unless otherwise noted, all meetings are held on the sixth floor of .
Each June, the Board approves its meeting schedule for the coming year.

Priorities
Each summer, the Board of »ÆÍø±¬ÁÏ and the president identify priorities that directly influence the Board’s annual planning for its meetings and focus the efforts of the president and their administration.
Priorities for 2023-24
- Select an exceptional leader to serve as the 18th president of the University of Minnesota.
- Propel health sciences partnerships and strategies toward a clinical partnership plan that will champion medical education, improve clinical care, and more fully serve the people of Minnesota.
- Provide input on and approve final enrollment and financial strategies for each campus.
- Advance the rebuilding and strengthening of relationships with Minnesota’s Tribal Nations and Indigenous communities.
- Advance University relations across the system, including community, government, and public relations.
- Continue to support and monitor progress to achieve the MPact 2025 Systemwide Strategic Plan including the following:
- Support the refinement of the University's strategic agenda on diversity, equity, and inclusion and implement a diversity, equity and inclusion plan for the Board of »ÆÍø±¬ÁÏ.
- Provide oversight of public safety initiatives across the system.
- Monitor the implementation of Phase I of the PEAK Initiative.
